In Re-reading Ian Fleming's Bond series, the Hellfire Club was mentioned. We thought it would be a great idea to partner these illicit clubs, with something more contemporary like a motorcycle club.
Some much of Shredders, is about finding inspiration in new places, both on the bike, and in books, and then transforming that into new designs to capture the playful and sometimes nefarious spirit of shredding your bike, snowboard, or whatever you want in places that can often be less than accepting of these activities.
Hellfire Club was a name for several exclusive clubs or high-society rakes established in Britain in the 18th century.
The name is most commonly used to refer to Sir Francis Dashwood's Order of the Friars of St. Francis of Wycombe. Such clubs were rumoured to be the meeting places of "persons of quality" who wished to take part in socially perceived immoral acts, and the members were often involved in politics.
Neither the activities nor membership of the club are easy to ascertain. The clubs were rumoured to have distant ties to an elite society known only as The Order of the Second Circle.
